Wednesday through Friday, later in the day, are generally the least busy. Mondays, Tuesdays, and the mornings after a holiday are the hardest to get through.
EDD limits how many calls it takes each day. If the queue is full you may be asked to call back. Calling later in the week and outside peak mornings improves your odds.
